about

Second official release from our Holy Circus Album. The most introvert, dark and desperate (or let's say ... fatalist) song of the Album with Second Self.

review :

The opening track from Industria Sinister's most recent album, Holy Circus, "To Hell with the Future" establishes the atmospheric tones and lyrical themes to come with a baleful blend of intensely robotic percussion and viscerally gripping bass tones. Spacious in an oppressive way, "To Hell with the Future" becomes a lyrical manifesto of one who has depleted their reserves of sympathy and community and now seeks to become a conduit of hatred itself.

The instrumental selections in "To Hell with the Future" work together in an effectively disquieting way - using primally resonant bass tones beneath ceaseless percussive timekeeping and stylistically bleak organ to build a soundscape of dark intent. The organ specifically resonates well with the album's title and grants "To Hell with the Future" a full and foreboding atmosphere as it develops. Vocally, Industria Sinister seems distant but still very much present within the sonic space - giving significant weight to lyrics that belie a sense of vengeance on the rise.

Post-Industrial energies conspire to develop "To Hell with the Future" into a strong introduction to the Holy Circus, laying a groundwork that should ensnare the attentions and even the affections of most fans of the genre! Industria Sinister's artistic style and lyrical authenticity stand to resonate well with any listener with a penchant for the darker side of things - with "To Hell with the Future" serving as a strong introduction to the artist's scene. - Jon W.

lyrics

You walk along a path
Which ends in front of you
To hell with the future
To hell with who you are

The outside world gets bland
So many Afflictions
It feels like an Egress
You're now left on your own

Cos deep inside of you
Once you gave everything
There's nothing left to say
You start your work of hate

You cross all your friends out
Try to tame the pressure
Tearing down who they are
Killing all common sense

Options are getting thin
Nothing to initiate
Ego starts to dissolve
You feel just like a prey

Cos deep inside of you
Once you gave everything
There's nothing left to say
You start your work of hate

Then starts your work of hate
A work of Delusion
Curl up to the Inside
Obscured by your own self

Cos deep inside of you
Once you gave everything
There's nothing left to say
You start your work of hate

So unfair but who cares ...
